CDC Announces Autism Rate Now at 1 in 50!
Just released from the CDC, new autism rates, 1 in 50 children in the United States have an autism diagnosis!
It is with a very heavy and sad heart that i share with you the current statistics on autism. According to the CDC, 1 in 50 children in this country have been diagnosed with this devastating disorder!
Only one short year ago i was in the very same chair typing my frustrations in regards to the announcement of the 2012 rates of autism (1 in 88) in a post here
Things have not changed, in fact they have gotten worse! More children are being diagnosed and more families are being brought to the breaking point! In case you are unfamiliar with the daily struggles of an autism parent, you can view my post about that here

You can read the details on the CDC findings in The National Health Statistics Report.
The current rate suggests that one million children in this country have autism! SHOCKING to say the least!

Funny thing is that i have yet to see one breaking news report! I have yet to hear of an emergency action plan to stop this epidemic! Not one panic button has been pushed by the CDC, NIH or mainstream medical establishment on this crisis!
Is anybody out there? Seriously, is it only the warrior parents and a small percentage of what is still considered alternative media sources and medical professionals that truly get it?
What is it going to take to stop this incredible assault on our children? Future generations are being impacted to the greatest extent and nothing is being done to stop the nightmare! Perhaps when the stats get to 1 in 10 children someone will wake up?
That is wishful thinking at best! Taking into consideration that the rate was 1 in 10,000 just a few decades ago, it is not likely, however, i am dedicated to changing that. Please join me in this effort to save our future generations!
What can you do to help? First of all, read the link containing the full report, share this post and TALK.....talk to anyone and everyone about this epidemic!
Learn, educate and advocate!
Dr. Bob Sears wrote a great post on this finding in a TACA blog, here
