I am the Mom of the most wonderful child with Autism. Kaitlin has taught me more than any textbook or class could ever hope to!

In 2003, i was blindsided by my daughter's diagnosis of Autism!! After having spent over 13 yrs in the Hospitality and Restaurant Mgmt industry, my career and hopes for my future were over! As many parents are, i was lost!! Shortly after the diagnosis it was a "whirlwind" of Doctors, Therapists and tests!

After the initial shock was over i started driving a school bus to make ends meet.  I couldn't go back to my chosen profession.

Today in 2012, i am a new person with a "new passion" and i never want to go back to the old days or the old me again!!

Autism awareness is now my passion, and i am happy!!:)
