Mums The Word Fund Raiser Sponsored by Glen Ellyn Historical Society

     Beginning Wednesday, September 25, early birds will get the best choice of the large variety of beautiful chrysanthemums that are featured in the “Mum’s the Word’ fund raiser sponsored by the Glen Ellyn Historical Society.  Doors open at 10:00 am and close at 5:00 pm. From the Sept. 25 date  through Sept. 29 (Tavern Day) and even longer until all the supply is sold out.  The mums will be on sale at Stacy’s Corners Store, 800 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn.  Store hours  are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:0 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and closed on Monday.  Call 630-469-1867, e-mail:  info@gehs.org.  This 2013 fall mum sale is an important fund raiser for the GEHS. The mum colors are varied and plentiful and kale plants will be available.  This is the fourth year the GEHS has participated in this fund raiser and the public opinion is the GEHS has the most beautiful mums available.
