I am a single mom of two who struggled through college to obtain an associate's degree from Robert Morris University (then College). After taking a brief hiatus I forwarded my education to on campus classes at University of Phoenix, where I obtained my BSB/M in 2008. Immediately upon graduation I began courses for the MBA program, which I hope to complete within the next year.

Though my schooling has been mostly management-oriented, my heart has always been in writing. Through this I hope to bring my readers up-to-date on just what our "Village of Volunteers" stands for.
