Former Glenbard South Student Pleaded Guilty to Computer Tampering Charges

Abraham Ali, a former Glen Ellyn resident, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge last week in DuPage County Court.

A Glenbard South graduate pleaded guilty last week to charges he tampered with computers at Glenbard High School District 87. Abraham Ali, formerly of Glen Ellyn, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor computer tampering, a reduced charge, on Thursday, the Daily Herald reported.  In 2009, Ali used a “password sniffing” program to break into the district’s computer system to change two failing grades to Ds, according to the Daily Herald story. He was sentenced to 60 days of jail work release and 20 days in the DuPage County Sheriff’s work alternative program. Stay up to date on Glen Ellyn News.
