Federal authorities have taken action to seize $1.3 million in gold and silver from a Glen Ellyn man accused of participating in a cross-country drug operation. William E. Brock, 36, of Glen Ellyn, was arrested in California back in April after a traffic stop uncovered about 294 pounds of marijuana. A search of his Glen Ellyn home uncovered marijuana and a lease for a storage unit on Ogden Avenue in Lisle where officials discovered the gold and silver, according to a story in the Daily Herald.
