D87 Considers Donation for Landscaping Project Near Memorial Field

Proposed project would update landscaping and features of Spalding Point, a land parcel adjacent to Memorial Field. District 87 board members will vote on approval of the donation that will fund the project May 20.

The Glenbard High School District 87 Board of Education at its May 20 meeting will vote to accept a donation of about $92,000 for a landscaping project adjacent to Memorial Field.  Spalding Point, a triangular land parcel immediately west of Memorial Field at the intersection of Park Avenue and Crescent Boulevard, would undergo a complete makeover. Did the district set up the community advisory panel to be the conduit between the community and the district regarding the light issues, yet? I'm just curious after covering this topic heavily last year and the beginning of this year. Thanks, Mary, hope you're enjoying Glen Ellyn!   more ›
