Weather Updates

When the Weather Outside is Frightful

Snow storms in the Chicago area could produce five to six inches.

It just keeps falling. Glen Ellyn is expected to get around three inches of snow today and over tonight. Bundle up and allow extra time for your commutes, as unplowed streets and fresh snow make conditions ripe for traffic accidents. Some areas around Chicago are now expected to receive five to six inches over today and tonight, according to the Chicago Weather Center blog. While it looks like communities on the north side of Chicago will be hit the hardest, I'm expecting Glen Ellyn to be well over three inches by tomorrow morning, since we're at two and a half inches already. Might be a good day to call in sick and go sledding.
