What's new in local business? A new yogurt shop has opened it's doors offering a healthy treat for Glen Ellyn diners.
We may be entering fall, but it will always be summertime at one new Glen Ellyn business. SkinnySweet Frozen Yogurt, owned by the husband and wife team of Marianne Cielak-Boyke and Brett Boyke, is now open in Market Plaza. The couple announced in mid-April that the business would be opening in Glen Ellyn. The Boyke’s chose Glen Ellyn in part because they felt young families would enjoy a healthy treat, which SkinnySweet provides. The yogurt shop offers 100 different yogurt flavors, with 14 flavors rotating daily, according to the website. SkinnySweet also offers non-fat, low-fat, premium, greek, no-sugar-added, and non-dairy sorbet flavors, according to the company. With a few exceptions, most of the products are gluten-free.
