Every week we share information about adoptable pets waiting for homes at area shelters and rescue groups.
Every week we bring you pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from DuPage County Animal Care and Control. Star came to DuPage County Animal Care and Control because her owner had health issues. She was dropped off as part of a litter of puppies. All her brothers and sisters have been adopted and she is the last puppy left. She is a very sweet girl and loves to play with dogs and cats. She is a typical puppy and could some basic training. Georgia came to the shelter from an area breeder that couldn’t sell her. She was adopted out once, but that owner returned her because they didn’t have time to train a puppy. She is a 6 month old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/dachshund mix) who is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Georgia is looking for a home that will take the time to work with a puppy. She has a lot of energy and loves to play. She would do best in a home with children over 14 years of age due to her puppy mouthiness. If you’re into cute puppies and have an interest in dog training Georgia might be the pooch for you! Milo came to DCACC …
