Someone reported at 8:56 a.m. that an unknown person damaged a section of fence near the basketball courts at Village Green Park, 130 S. Lambert Road, Glen Ellyn Police said. Mary K. Michaels, 25, of the 300 block of Coventry Lane, Crete, was arrested at 8:13 p.m. at the Budgetel Inn and Suites, 677 Roosevelt Road, police said. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ignacio Marquez, Jr., 37, of the 2200 block of Hollister Court, Plainfield, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Surrey Drive, police said.
