BATAVIA A 20-year-old North Auroran and a 19-year-old Batavian were each issued complaints for unlawful consumption of an alcoholic liquor. An officer made the arrests at 2:12 a.m. on Feb. 21, according to a police report. Jason R. Leannah, of the first block of Grace Street, North Aurora, was speeding more than 40 mph over the limit. He posted his driver's license for bond for the speeding offense. Philip R.C. Vermaas, of the 800 block of North Forest Avenue, Batavia, was issued a notice to appear in court for failure to wear a seat belt, according to the police report. Leannah and Vermaas were each released on personal recognizance for their individual drinking offenses. They were each given March 19 court dates for all charges. ST. …

NAPERVILLE Someone on Feb. 21 received text messages from unknown numbers which read: "I SEE YOU" and "IM COMING FOR YOU," in the 1400 block of Culpepper Drive, police said. The messages were texted to the phone via Internet. Edvinas Korotkevic, 29, was arrested at 7:16 a.m. Feb. 18 at the Naperville Marriott in the 1800 block of North Naper Boulevard, police said. Korotkevic, a guest of the hotel, was allegedly drunk when he came down to the lobby and threatened to throw a smoothie in a clerk's face. ST. CHARLES Nicole M. Pstrong, 33, of the 200 block of Cedar Avenue, was cited at 4:45 a.m. Feb. 9 at her home with disorderly conduct-noise after officers were called to the residence twice on noise complaints. Police said the first time, at 4:16 a.m., while no one would answer the door, someone called out, “Go away, we’re drinking,” and the loud music was turned down. Still no one answered, and the officer left. Police were called back at 4:45 a.m., and this time the officer’s knock on the door was answered. Pstrong was issued the citation. Jordan R. Kinkle, 18, of the 100 block of Bryant, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. at the Shell Gas Station, 631 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn Police said. He was charged with retail theft. Police said Joseph F. Ferrero, 42, of the first block of South Lombard, Lombard, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at St. Charles and Riford roads. He was charged with driving without a license, driving and uninsured motor vehicle and charged with a sign violation. Mark E. Matthew M. Fuhrman, 37, of the 100 block of S. Milton Avenue, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Hill Avenue, Glen Ellyn Police said. He was charged with public intoxication. Police said Jose R. Serafin, 25, of the 10900 block of Prescott, Roselle, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. at Roosevelt Road and Royal Glen Drive. He was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license, speed and possession of drug paraphernalia. NAPERVILLE A Naperville man caught speeding last April, hoping to have sex with a woman he liked, pleaded guilty Thursday to reckless driving, the Chicago Tribune reports. Zachary Pierce Ramirez, 21, of the 1400 block of Fairway Drive, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. April 21, 2012 at Oswego and River roads after being caught driving 111 mph in a 45-mph zone, police reports said. A story in the Daily Herald on April 27, 2012 said Ramirez was in a hurry because he was hoping to have sex with a girl he liked. He was driving about 104 mph near the Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve and another speed check determined he was going 111 mph. ST. CHARLES Police were called at 12:58 a.m. Jan. 13 to the Alibi Bar & Grill, 12 N. 3rd St., on a report of a woman vomiting. Police arrived to find the extremely intoxicated woman in the women’s bathroom, surrounded by a pool of vomit. She began vomiting again when paramedics arrived to check on her, and she was transported to an area hospital. ST. CHARLES Marc T. Okerblad, 21, of the 500 block of Harrison Street, Batavia, was charged at 2:20 a.m. Dec. 30 at 301 W. Main St., with disorderly conduct/public drunkenness, resisting a peace officer and violation of bail bond. Police who were downtown for bar closing said Okerblad approached an officer and demanded a ride home, and the officers informed him he should call a cab.
