Every week we bring you pets looking for homes at area shelters and rescue groups. This week the pets are from Animal Rescue Foundation – IL (ARF) and the DuPage County Animal Care and Control. Rex came to the shelter because his owner had allergies. He has been here since August and still can’t find his forever home. Rex is 5 years old and already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is currently being fostered by Lombard Vet Hospital because he became overwhelmed at the shelter. Rex is a very sweet boy that loves to be snuggled and pet. If you have a lap that would like a cat…Rex may be the feline for you. Charmaine was surrendered to the shelter because the owner’s roommate had allergies. She is a 1-½ year-old Californian …

Every week we bring you pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from Animal Rescue Foundation – IL (ARF) and the DuPage County Animal Care and Control. My name is Butter, and I am a nice, nice boy. I may have a tough look to me, but I’m a sweetheart! I am well behaved, have nice manners, walk nice on a leash, enjoy belly rubs and am a really good dog. I am ready to go, I am about 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Elliot is a quiet little guy who likes to follow you around everywhere you go. Even though he is 8 years old, he still has a lot of spunk! He loves to cuddle and he loves to give kisses. He will need to receive drops in his eyes two times a day for the rest of his life for his dry eyes, but he gives no trouble when they are given. He is very treat driven and picks up on things fast, he mastered potty training in two days! So if you …
