Month in Review: Authorities Strike Gold, Man Charged in Home Invasion, Locals Launch Business

A look back at the top stories in Glen Ellyn during the month of September.

September was a busy month for news in Glen Ellyn. Let's stop and take a look back at some of the top news stories for the month.  William E. Brock was indicted in California in connection with conspiring to distribute marijuana. Authorities found $1.3 million in gold and silver at his Ogden Avenue storage unit.  There are 13 registered sex offenders listed as living in Glen Ellyn, according to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry. Beard, 64, of the 1400 block of Avery Avenue, Wheaton, was charged with home invasion after he entered a Glen Ellyn home brandishing a gun and threatened the occupants.
