Judge Orders Psychiatric Evaluation for Glen Ellyn Man Charged in Numerous Incidents

A DuPage County Judge held two hearings in the last week related to arrests involving Glen Ellyn resident Christopher Shukin.

A DuPage County judge has ruled a Glen Ellyn man who has been arrested numerous times in the last year will be denied bond until he undergoes a psychiatric evaluation.  Christopher Shukin, 22, of the 400 block of Hill Avenue, was most recently arrested in November in Glen Ellyn in connection with public indecency. In October, he was arrested in Wheaton after being tasered. He was charged with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct—breach of peace, disorderly conduct—peeping Tom and resisting arrest.  Shukin has been arrested 10 times since November 2011, according to a story in the Daily Herald.
