Glenbard High School District 87 swears in two new board members, two incumbents.
The Glenbard High School District 87 Board of Education on Monday swore in its four elected board members, including two newcomers, Jennifer Jendras and Judith Weinstock and two incumbents, Richard Heim and Robert Friend. Six candidates ran for four seats on the board in the April 9 election, including North Central College student Anthony Schullo and incumbent Tom Voltaggio. Updated 9:43 a.m. With all precincts reporting, newcomers Judith Weinstock and Jennifer Jendras and incumbents Richard Heim and Robert Friend have won the 2013 election to the Glenbard District 87 Board of Education. With 8,118 votes, Weinstock finished ahead of Friend with 8,006 votes, Jendras with 7,485 votes and Heim with 6,732 votes.
