Glen Ellyn Nonprofit Receives $8,000 Grant to Continue Providing Counseling Services

The Blowitz-Ridgeway Foundation awarded a grant to the Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Counseling Service.

Grant funds recently awarded to a Glen Ellyn nonprofit will help the organization to continue providing much needed counseling service to youths and families in need. The Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Counseling Service received an $8,000 grant in December from the Blowitz-Ridgeway Foundation. The community based, nonprofit mental health service organization was originally incorporated in 1979 as the Glen Ellyn Youth Service Bureau. “The grant award will be used to help underwrite and supplement those reduced fees charged to GEYFCS Community Counseling Program clients,” said Executive Director Don Hane.
