How Much Do Educators Make At Glen Ellyn Schools?

Patch built readers a database to look up teacher and administrator salaries for the 2010-11 school year using information from the Illinois State Board of Education.

Using infromation from the state board of education, Patch built readers a database to look up teacher and administrator salaries. Doing a simple search, readers can find out how much educators in Glen Ellyn schools earn. The data is from the Illinois State Board of Education for the 2010-11 school year. We are aware that some districts are not included in the database. Here is the ISBE explanation: "Due to technical or other reasons locally, some districts did not submit data each school year as required starting in 2010. Only data submitted via IWAS by the mandated deadline are included in this posting."   Let Patch save you time. Glenbard West Student Achieves Perfect ACT

Matthew Udelhofen received a perfect score on his ACT test.

Submitted by Glenbard Township High School District 87 Congratulations to Glenbard West High School student Matthew Udelhofen, who received a 36 on the ACT. Udelhofen is one of a very few students in Illinois to earn a perfect composite score on the ACT.  Typically, less than one-tenth of one percent of high school students receives a composite score of 36. The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science. Each test is scored on a scale of 1-36, and a student's composite score is the average of the four test scores. Some students also take ACT’s optional Writing Test, but the score for that test is reported separately and is not included within the ACT composite score. The ACT is the most widely accepted college …

Stadium Turf Project Slated for Glenbard South

If approved, the artificial turf would be installed in the summer of 2012.

With help from an anonymous donor and boosters organization, Glenbard Township High School District 87 plans to install another synthetic turf field at one of its four high schools.   District 87 board members will review the draft documents, which outline the payment plan for the approximately $1.5 million project during Monday's board meeting.  Just like Glenbard North's synthetic field, District 87 found other donors willing to carry some of the financial burden that comes with installing the field. An anonymous donor will pay for one-third of the project, while the Glenbard South Boosters Organization funds one-third of the project throughout a period of ten years. That leaves District 87 on the hook for the remaining cost of the …

Tonight: Memorial Lights Issue Goes Before Plan Commission

Commissioners will review zoning variation requests from Glenbard High School District 87 to install lights at Memorial Field. Tonight's meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center.

Tonight is just the first step to reach a final decision on the installation of lights at Memorial Field.  Before the village board can vote on the decision, the board will wait to review the recommendation from the plan commission. And tonight the plan commission will review the request for the project; the first step in formulating that recommendation for village trustees.  The group opposed to the lights, Our Field Our Town, and Glenbard High School District 87 will present their sides of the argument tonight, hoping to sway commissioners' votes on the issue. Both groups have hired experts, lighting engineers and zoning professionals, to present evidence on why lights should or should not be installed at the field just off Crescent …
