Glen Ellyn Home Sales Drop 6.7% in February

In February, Glen Ellyn saw a 6.7 percent drop in home sales, according to the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors.

The 14 detached, single-family homes sold in Glen Ellyn during February 2013 represented a 6.7 percent drop over February 2012, when 15 homes were sold, according to the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe). There were 33 homes sold in Glen Ellyn during January. The median price of a home climbed 33 percent to $366,000 from $275,000 in February 2012.  The market for detached, single-family homes in suburbs throughout DuPage County saw growth in January, MORe reported. MORe gets its statistics from Midwest Real Estate Data. Wheaton saw the second largest percent increase in DuPage County.
