District 87 Hosting College Financial Aid Workshop Saturday

Parents and students are invited to attend the workshop to learn about financial aid options and to get assistance filling out the FAFSA.

Most parents are pleased to know their children are working hard to get into college. Once those applications get sent and the acceptance letters arrive, the reality hits: How much is college going to cost and how to pay for it? While paying for college isn’t an issue for some families, for many it’s a real concern. A program being held Saturday at Glenbard North High School will address these concerns. The Glenbard Parent Series — Making Dreams Reality will hold the program: Paying for College 2013 Financial Aid Workshop at 2 p.m., Feb. 2 at Glenbard North. College Costs Topic of Upcoming Glenbard Parent Series

The program will be held on Saturday from 10:30 to noon at Glenbard West High School.

From Glenbard Township High School District 87 Conquering the Challenges of College Costs – Finding Financial Fits will be the topic of the next Glenbard Parent Series-Saturday: Navigating Healthy Families. The event will be presented on Saturday. This workshop with Frank Palmasani will be presented from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday in the library at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn. Palmasani is an author, counselor and creator of the Financial Fit program.  He has been dedicated to helping families find affordable college options for more than 30 years.
