Late Night Study Hall Offers Students Extra Finals Prep Time
The Glen Ellyn Public Library will extend its hours three days next week as students from Glenbard South and West prepare for final exams.
Parents, next week when the kids ask to stay out so they can study longer at the library, it’s not a ploy to stay out later. The Glen Ellyn Public Library will be extending its hours three nights next week as students prepare for final exams. The library will hold its “Late Night Study Hall” from 5 to 10 p.m. on January 14, 15, and 16. To assist students from Glenbard West and Glenbard South who are preparing for finals, the library stays open an extra hour during its special study hall. The Glen Ellyn Public Library began hosting the study hall in 2006 and along with staying open a little later, the library also partners with restaurants that provide students with food to munch on, said Anthony McGinn, the library’s marketing coordinator…
