Every week we bring you pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from DuPage County Animal Care and Control. Sake came to DuPage County Animal Care and Control because his owner had allergies. He is very sweet and calm 6 to 7-year-old. He was in a home with older children and did well. He also gets along with other animals. Sake loves to play with toys and enjoys being outside (which is unusual for a little doggie). He is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. During his veterinary exam it was discovered that Sake has a heart murmur. He does not need any treatment for it at this time, but we do recommend he monitored regularly by a veterinarian. Kudos came to DuPage County Animal Care and Control …

She came to DuPage County Animal Care and Control as a stray. Go Go got her name because she is always on the go! She has a ton of energy and loves people. She currently is in our STAR training program and is learning some basic obedience. Go Go is really smart and will work for a treat! She does however get distracted and will need someone who is ready to help her stay on task. Go Go has had her first try at agility and was not intimidated at all.....in fact she found it VERY exciting! She is a dog that will need to be worked with, but we know that the work…

Every week we bring you pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from the DuPage County Animal Care and Control. Squeaky and Buddy are siblings that came to DuPage County Animal Care and Control because their owner had too many animals. They love each other very much and the shelter would like to keep them together. Both Squeaky and Buddy are very calm and sweet kitties. They were raised with children and love them. They were also lived with cats and dogs and don’t mind having animal friends. Both felines are 2 years old, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Every week we bring you pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from DuPage County Animal Care and Control. Georgia came to the shelter from an area breeder that couldn’t sell her. She was adopted out once, but that owner returned her because they didn’t have time to train a puppy. She is a 6 month old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/dachshund mix) who is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Georgia is looking for a home that will take the time to work with a puppy. She has a lot of energy and loves to play. She would do best in a home with children over 14 years of age due to her puppy mouthiness. If you’re into cute puppies and have an interest in dog training Georgia might be the pooch for you! Milo came to DCACC …
