BATAVIA GLEN ELLYN Buddy W. Blazek, 20, of the 900 block of South Ardmore, Villa Park, was charged with possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana after his arrest near Roosevelt and Baker Hill around 1:25 a.m. Dec. 13, police said. ST. CHARLES La Vie Encore, 211 S. 3rd St., reported a series of Christmas decoration thefts at 1:28 p.m. Dec. 12. The latest incident had occurred between 10 a.m. and noon that day, with theft of garland from the lower level south windows. The business reported to police this was the fifth such theft since Nov. 25, but the business apparently shrugged off the earlier thefts and not reported them to police.
