Based on Yelp! we compiled the top spots for Mexican food in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn. Do you agree with your neighbors? Where will you celebrate?
Tacos, tostadas, margaritas, olé! Spicy food and bebidas from south of the border are going to be happily imbibed as anyone seeking a reason to eat, drink and be merry celebrates Cinco de Mayo. Who would guess that a victory by the Mexican Militia over the French at the Battle of Puebla would turn into such a huge holiday in the United States. Cinco de Mayo has grown into a drinking holiday in the states, thanks in part to marketing from alcohol companies. In Mexico, it’s not really much celebrated. But, who cares about that. It would be nice if Glen Ellyn had a really good sit down Mexican restaurant that served a tasty margarita. Los B's is good, but no margarita. Santa Fe has a good (not great) margarita, but their food is bland and not much to choose from. I miss the one that was by Great Clips! It was very good! more ›
