Jeff B. Jungels, 56, of 703 W. Liberty, (DuPage PADS), Wheaton, was arrested at 1:06 p.m. at Geneva and St. Charles roads, Glen Ellyn Police said. Teresa Gillespie, 43, of the 3500 block of West Lexington Street, Chicago, was arrested at 7:21 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Briar Street, police said. She was charged with driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while her license was suspended and speeding. Ahmed Z. Mahdi, 27, of the first block of Ann Street, Lombard, was arrested at 6:47 p.m. at Dominick’s, 880 Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with retail theft – shoplifting. The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that state Rep. Randy Ramey (R-55th, Carol Stream) was arrested over the weekend in Carol Stream for drunk driving. His blood-alcohol level was more than two times the legal limit according to the article. According to the Sun-Times, Ramey is the stepson of former Senate President James "Pate" Philip. He took over the helm of the DuPage County Republican Party in July, filling the unexpired term of DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin of Elmhurst. Read the full story here.
