Food, Brews and Benefits: Holiday 2012 Glen Ellyn Gives Back

Surprise the children in your life with a creative and fun gingerbread decorating event, while helping mothers and children this holiday season who are seeking safer futures free from domestic violence. Sponsored by Family Shelter Service and the Southeast Community Resource Council, this fundraising event, being held at Abbington Distinctive Banquets, will include a breakfast buffet (served 9:30 - 11 a.m. — come when you like, stay as long as you want), visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, musical entertainment, caroling, storytelling, balloon artist, costumed storybook characters, face painting and more.  All proceeds benefit Family Shelter Service, offering help and hope to individuals affected by domestic violence. Tickets are $40. …
