Hilltoppers Boys, Girls Harriers To Sectionals
Glenbard West places second in girls meet behind Maddie Nagle; Mike Lederhouse takes sixth in boys meet.
NAPERVILLE – In a muddy, slippery Class 3A Naperville North Regional at DuPage River Park Saturday, Oct. 23 the battle in the girls cross country race came down to Glenbard West and Wheaton Warrenville South. While the Tigers managed to pull out the win, the Hilltoppers were not far behind. Wheaton South won with 27 points, but Glenbard West was nipping at its heels with 35 points. "We wanted to do well as a team, so I needed to put myself out there to help us do well as a team," said West junior Maddie Nagle, who placed third individually in 17:49.27.
