The new business is planning a soft opening in March, followed by a grand opening in April.
A new business is coming to Downtown Glen Ellyn, opening soon in the space left vacant when Knickers closed. The co-owners of Bird On A Wire Studio are hoping to hold a soft launch opening in March at its location, 492 N. Main St. The business was granted approval from the Village of Glen Ellyn Board of Trustees for $803.50 (a 50-percent matching grant) in façade grant funding to install a new awning and cover along with installing glass block. The business also secured $2,445.86 in interior grant funding (also a 50-percent grant), to help create a more inviting space.
