Civic Betterment Committee Announces Slate of Candidates for April Election

Glen Ellyn residents have the opportunity to meet and vote for potential candidates for local office on Dec. 1.

On Dec. 1, Glen Ellyn residents have an opportunity to come together at the Town Meeting to learn about and choose prospective candidates for local village offices. While any resident may run for village office, the Civic Betterment Committee has put together a slate of candidates it feels are qualified to fill positions ranging from Village President to Library Trustee. The committee is asking residents to choose those they wish to see on the ballot next April. The candidates will be presented on Dec. 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the gymnasium at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center. Vote for any candidate that touts fiscal responsibility, pro any business, and is for responsible development and doesn't list non-profs and library initiatives in their bios.
