The Glen Ellyn Tailor Shop provides horrible customer service. The band of gypsies that run this place are completely unreliable. I brought in 3 pairs of my son's pants to be hemmed that were needed for graduation and convocation. They said they would be ready in a week. A week later I came back and they were not ready. One of the pairs was not even in the shop. They said to come back tomorrow. I said that this was not acceptable as I followed their schedule and did not come in asking for them to be ready before the agreed upon date. The girl at the counter said, "What do you want me to do? If I have an emergency I have to take them first." She offered no apology and seemed to be unconcerned that they miss deadlines all the time--this is not the first time that this has happened. They are a very rude and unconcerned band. I guess my recommendation would be to say that anything you bring in for alterations is a dire emergency and then maybe they will do the job in time. Does anyone know of a good tailor in Glen Ellyn that is reliable? This one is not!

Great location and the best tailor. I used to live in Glen Ellyn but moved to the city recently. Come to this shop all the way from the city!!!!!!! It's worth the time and money. Only trust them with my clothing.
