We stopped by your Roosevelt Road store today and were saddened to learn that you are being forced to close your store because your landlord is hiking your rent by 60%. In this economy, the sheer greed of people these days -- with no concern for your business or the neighborhood you serve -- is infuriating. Your store is a neighborhood institution. Not only are we patrons, but we love seeing all the smiles you bring to the faces of so many families, little leaguers and others. Your store seems to always be busy! We are also certain that the business your store draws helps neighboring businesses as well. We plan to contact your landlord and make our feelings known.
