Mike did a outstanding job on my 61 spider. If you need Alfa work Mike is your go to guy. Thanks Mike, sorry I now live in Colorado. I dont think I will find anyone as good as you here. Car is now in shop for repaint and chrome. Will send you a picture when done. The offer still stand for a place to stay if you come out my way. Lyle Poole

I recently purchased my first Alfa and was referred to Besic by my friend in Seattle. The car was towed in as it needed a lot of work. Mike quickly checked it out and gave me a knowledgeable and fair assessment. I've now been there a few times for follow up repairs and there is always some loyal customer there with a magnificent car that Mike restored or built up. His knowledge base and work are TOP SHELF and his rate is fair. He's one of the most honest and decent people I've met in or out of auto repair.
There is no better Alfa Romeo mechanic in the Midwest. Nuf said. Raced with him for many years and he maintained my Alfa GTV-6, Milano, and Duetto. He is the go to guy, no question.

I had Mike do some work on my '67 Duetto, and he did a great job. I think that his experience building Alfa race cars makes him the go-to guy for anyone who likes to get the most out of their street car. He was also very fair and charged a reasonable rate for his services.

Mike came to my rescue at Road America two weeks ago by providing a new fuel pump when ours expired, keeping us in the race. When I asked him how much he needed for it his reply was " just send me a replacement when you get a chance". If you own an Alfa and live in Illinois you'd be foolish to go anywhere else. Thanks Mike!
