The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn is hosting a free Tips and Trends Kitchen Seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at the showroom, 522 Crescent Blvd. Owner and award-winning designer will help pinpoint unique solutions for your space and money-saving tips. 4. Vertical Gardening and Hydroaquaponics will be the topic of Friday's Lombard Garden Club meeting, at 1 p.m. at Lombard Commons, 433 St. Charles Road. Who says gardening has to end when the weather goes bad? Admission is free.
