Hoof It for Hephzibah - 11th Annual 5K Family Fun Run

Kick off your summer at the 11th Annual Hoof It for Hephzibah, a timed 5K run and kid races that benefit Hephzibah Children's Association.


On Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, Hoof It will start and finish at Newton Park in Glen Ellyn. The 5K family fun run starts at 8:00 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female racers. After the 5K, join us for the fun-to-watch Hop It races for the kids. Kid races start at 9:30 and will include both a 50 yard dash and 1/4 mile races for children 12 and under.


Pre-register now at www.SignMeUp.com. Pre-race registration and packet pick-up will be on Thursday, May 26, 9:30-11:00 a.m. or 5:00-6:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 29, 12:00-2:00 p.m. at HealthTrack Sports and Wellness (875 Roosevelt Rd., Glen Ellyn). Early registrations fees are $20 for the 5K and $15 for the Kid Races. Day of the race registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at Newton Park and fees will be $25 for the 5K and $15 for the Kid Races.

Hephzibah is a non-profit agency that has been caring for children and families since 1897. Located in Oak Park, Hephzibahs diagnostic shelter and residence provides care for severely abused children aged 3-12. Hephzibah provides a wide range of family support services, including foster care and adoption services. It is the only community based diagnostic program of its kind in Illinois and provides services to children in need throughout Illinois - including children from DuPage County.
