Rep. Sandy Pihos Selected for Task Force Focusing on Small Business
SPRINGFIELD, IL… Today, in continuing efforts to create jobs and support Illinois small businesses, State Representative Sandy Pihos (R-Glen Ellyn) was appointed to serve on the newly-formed Illinois Small Business and Workforce Development Task Force. As a former small business owner of a restaurant management firm, Pihos says she looks forward to identifying issues and finding solutions to problems facing small business throughout the state.
“I am eager to bring my years of experience as a small business owner and legislator to find real solutions that will encourage small business growth and create meaningful jobs for Illinois families,” said Pihos.
The 17-member bipartisan task force, created by the Illinois General Assembly in 2013 by Public Act 098-0515, will identify issues and recommendations addressing access to capital, State procurement policies, State regulatory policies, program sustainability, and workforce concerns.
