Wednesday A.M. Three-Car Crash Injures Two in Glen Ellyn
The rush-hour crash closed off a section of Route 53 for an hour.
A three-vehicle crash in Glen Ellyn on Route 53 between Butterfield Road and Park Boulevard just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning sent two people to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, the Daily Herald reports.
According to the paper, the patients suffered only minor injuries and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Route 53 between Butterfield and Park was shut down for an hour and was reopened at around 8 a.m., the Suburban Life reports.
