Makin' Bacon

Bacon is irrefutably one of America's most favorite foods and next to baseball, eating it may very well be one of America's favorite pastimes.

Making it yourself is a lot easier than you might think and the quality and taste of homemade bacon is uncomparable to anything you might find at the store. The toughest part of making it was waiting a full seven days for it to cure.

Risking my reputation as Pig Daddy, I must admit, I am unable to explain why it took me so long to make it for the first time. But rest assured, I'll be doing again real soon as the 4 lbs I had made didn't last but a couple of days.
