It's a perfect day to take in some fine art and live music along the shores of Lake Ellyn.
The 44th annual Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts goes until 6:30 p.m. Saturday, and continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. With about 70 artists, specializing in everything from pottery to photography, glassworks to oil painting, you're sure to find unique items to suit your taste.
Live bands perform all day, both days, including a special twilight summer concert from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday with On Your Marks, featuring ska, reggae and dub music. Sunday's highlights include a 2 p.m. performance by The Rhythm Rockets, a jazz and blues band.
