According to a recent ranking from Yahoo's RivalsHigh, the Hitters sit at spot No. 74.
The rankings are determined by a network of analysts from around the country, input from coaches and help from Rivals.com.
The only other Illinois team to make the list is Park Ridge's . The Hawks beat out the Hitters and are ranked No. 47 on the list of 100 high school teams.
The Hitters captured the spot after this past weekend.
So far, it's been an exciting year for the Glenbard West football team. The team is undefeated and the athletes got to play a game against rival .
This week the Hitters will play at on Saturday, Sept. 24.
