Glenbard West Falls to Lake Zurich

Glenbard West's season came to an Saturday, with a 16-7 loss to Lake Zurich in the class 7A state semifinals, the Daily Herald reported.

The Glenbard West Hilltoppers finished the season 11-2.

The Lake Zurich Bears  will return to the class 7A state championship game for the fourth time in eight years, the Chicago Tribune reported. Lake Zurich, 12-1, will face Mt. Carmel, 12-1, in the 7A title game at 4 p.m. at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, the Daily Herald reported.
