Glenbard West won the third-place match at the state boys volleyball tournament this past weekend, beating Lake Park, according to the Illinois High School Association website.
The Hilltopers defeated Lake Park 26-25, 24-19 in Hoffman Estates on Saturday, according to the IHSA.
The Chicago Tribune reports the third place finish "could be the start of something special for Glenbard West."
Sophomores Kyler Kotsakis and Paulie Bischoff lead the team during the third-place match with Kotsakis tallying 10 kills and Bischoff with 24 assists, according to the Chicago Tribune.
