Football: Glenbard West Storms Into Game 9 Vs York; Can Glenbard South Go 9-0?

York's football season is over after this weekend's game against Glenbard West. But the Hilltoppers (7-1, 5-0 WSC) have the post-season to look forward to. If their crushing 55-0 win over Addison Trail is any indication, they are more than ready for it.

But first they have to get through York. There's no doubt the Dukes (3-5, 1-4 WSC) would like to end their season with a win, but it won't be easy, especially since the Hilltoppers have home-field advantage. 

The weather for Saturday's game is expected to be partly cloudy, with a high of 53 and no chance of rain. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Glenbard West is at 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

Glenbard South vs Bloom Trail

Can you say, "UNDEFEATED?" That's the Glenbard South Raiders this season, with an 8-0 record going into Game 9 against the Blazing Trojans of Bloom Trail Friday. They captured the Metro Suburban Conference Title last weekend against Ridgewood High.

That 41-8 victory can been seen on High School Cube. 

Bloom (5-3, 3-2) has played tough all year, so a win is not guaranteed, but the Raiders are ready. Game time is 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at 101 W. 10th St., Chicago Heights.
