As you get ready for the holidays and sort through your basement and garage and come across used, good-condition soccer shoes, shin guards, balls, cones, and training & coaching materials (books, DVDs, videos) please consider donating them. Bring the equipment and materials to the Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center on Saturday, November 20 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. (630) 317 – 0130.Glen Ellyn Area Recycling for Sports is doing a pilot program with the Glen Ellyn Park District to recycle soccer equipment. The soccer equipment and training & coaching materials will be collected, inspected, cleaned up, and then distributed at no charge to park district resident players and coaches for next spring’s soccer season.
