Insomnia - Glenbard South High School After Prom

For the second year Insomnia provides great fun after Prom. Activities available will be swimming, climbing wall, basketball and full gym use. There will be an abundance of food, music and games. Start practicing now because there will be an American Idol Contest!

The Glenbard South Insomnia Committee wishes to thank all supporters of the 2011 Insomnia event, an all-night party following the Glenbard South Prom.  Insomnia was a new event in 2011, and it could not have happened without parental and community involvement.

First, we are indebted to the BR Ryall YMCA for welcoming us with open arms and for hosting Insomnia.  We also wish to thank the many businesses and
organizations that supported us through donations, fundraising events or
underwriting: A & K Diamond Gallery, Addison Trail Athletic Booster Club,
AthletiCo, Cardinal Fitness, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle,  Cici’s Pizza, Culver’s of Downers Grove,
Culver’s of Lombard, Dairy Queen, DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Drug Forfeiture
Grant Program, Ellyn’s Tap and Grill, Giordano's, Glenbard South Boosters, Glenbard
West CARES Post Prom Committee, Jamba Juice, Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet,
Hawthorne Cleaners, Leslie Car Wash, Lombardi’s Famous Beef, M.K. Designs, Paul
R Miller, DDS, John E Murphy, DDS, MS, Ltd., Namaste Salon, Northern Trust
Company of Illinois, P.J.’s Camera, Panera Bread, Sue Pessetti, Record-A-Hit
Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, the Ross Fund, Sara Lee Corporation, Sign
Identity, Top Golf, Vorreyer Entertainment and Wine Styles.  We hope we have not
forgotten anyone.  Our greatest thanks go
to the parents who stepped up to support Insomnia.  Over 100 families helped out by volunteering,
making donations and by encouraging their students to attend this safe celebration.
Without this broad community support, we could not host this safe,
alcohol-free, drug-free event.
