B.R. Ryall YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign

The B.R. Ryall YMCA is launching its Annual Strong Kids Campaign to financially support individuals and families in need, so that they can participate in YMCA programs and services. Funds raised directly support the Y’s cause of strengthening communities by nurturing the potential of every youth and teen, improving the nation’s health and well-being and providing opportunities to give back and support neighbors.

Providing financial support is critical to the Y’s goal of ensuring that everyone has access to programs and services that support their individual health and well-being.

“At the B.R. Ryall YMCA, we count on the generosity of our donors and volunteers to make a meaningful impact on our community,” said John Cochrane, President of the Board of Directors for the B.R. Ryall YMCA. “We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.”

Gifts to the B.R. Ryall YMCA make a direct impact to the community. With this year’s $100,000 goal, financial support from the community will allow the Y to provide scholarships and fee assistance to families and individuals in our neighborhoods. Children will have a safe place to learn and build confidence after school; families can reconnect and grow together; and people have access to education and training in order to reach their full potential.

The Annual Strong Kids Campaign will kick-off on Wednesday, March 23 and last 6 weeks, concluding on Wednesday, May 4. Together we will make sure that everyone has an opportunity to learn, grow and thrive through their Y experience.
