The Glenbard Parent Series – Navigating Healthy Families – will present Milton Creagh speaking on “Parenting is Prevention” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road in Glen Ellyn.
Creagh speaks on the tough issues that students face in today’s world. Best known for his hard hitting and inspirational talks to students, Creagh is the author of “Nobody Wants Your Child,” which focuses on the global workforce and the skills students need to prepare for the future.
Creagh’s presentation is designed to help participants build greater parental understanding about how today’s teens are affected by their surroundings at home, in school and their community.
Creagh’s presentation is co-sponsored by FUSE (Families United for Students Excellence), the Elks Club, NAACP, Cebrin Goodman Center (an affiliate of the Lillian and Larry Goodman Foundation), and CASE (the Cooperative Association for Special Education).
This free event is open to all. Students are encouraged to attend.
