New Glenbard South Principal: D87 “Always Looking to Improve Opportunities”
Sandra Coughlin has been a District 87 employee for the past 17 years.
Sandra Coughlin, the incoming new Glenbard South High School principal, says that while she didn’t initially have interest in the job, she is excited and “very fortunate” to be heading the school for the coming year, the Suburban Life reports.
According to the paper, Coughlin has worked for District 87 for the past 17 years, including as a literary instructional coach, a family and consumer science teacher and as Glenbard East High School’s assistant principal for instruction.
“What’s great about Glenbard is that they’re always looking for ways to improve opportunities for students,” she told the paper, adding that her “number one [priority] is always improving student outcomes and achievement.”
