Hamilton, Wozniak Elected to College of DuPage Board of Trustees

Newcomer Kathy Hamilton and incumbent Joseph Wozniak win the 2013 College of DuPage Board of Trustees election.

With all precincts reporting, Kathy Hamilton and incumbent Joseph Wozniak have been elected to the College of DuPage Board of Trustees.

Of the six candidates, Hamilton led with 45,214 votes. Joseph Wozniak followed with 28,570 votes. Incumbent Dave Carlin followed with 24,264 votes. 

According to a Daily Herald report, Hamilton is a CPA from Hinsdale who ran on the same slate with Carlin.

Nine petitioners originally filed for candidacy in January, according to a COD post on Patch. In addition to Carlin, Hamilton and Wozniak defeated Frank Flores Jr. of Glendale Heights, Edward Agustin of Naperville and Mike Lanners of Lombard.

Hamilton and Wozniak will join the seven-member board to serve six-year positions, beginning the date of their swearing in at an organizational meeting in April or May, according to the COD post.
