Glenbard West Student Earns Perfect Score on ACT

Glenbard West High School student Nathan Gaertner received a perfect score of 36 on ACT, which he took in February, according to a Glenbard Township High School District 87 press release.

Gaertner is one of a very few students in Illinois to earn a perfect composite score on the ACT. Typically, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of high school students receives a composite score of 36.

The ACT is the most widely accepted college entrance exam, and exceptional scores of 36 provide colleges with evidence of student readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead, according to the news release.
