Glenbard South Student Earns Perfect Score on the ACT

Only one-tenth of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn a perfect score.

Jennifer Lipa, a student at Glenbard South High School, earned a perfect score—36—on the ACT.  She took the exam in June.

Lipa is one of very few students in Illinois to earn a perfect composite score on the ACT. Typically, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of high school students receives a composite score of 36.

The ACT is the most widely accepted college entrance exam, and scores provide colleges with evidence of student readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead.
